Paul and Kaz landed in the beautiful island of Lombok, Indonesia with all intentions of creating a hip, sleak, modern Espresso Bar that would complement their hospitality business in Australia and make use their relatively new found passion for food and coffee.  Sometimes things don't turn out as you plan but that's a story to be shared over a good coffee or glass of wine :)

After leaving public service Paul followed his passion for small business to open a Timber Yard and Landscaping business with his father and mate.  Loving working outdoors it evolved to include Handyman and Maintenance, contracting to Real-estate's and Property Managers. 

Karryn was born with paint running through her veins! Starting with the family Painting and Decorating business then expanding into Blinds, Curtains and Shutters before settling into importing Decor, Furniture and Gift Lines. To say Interior Design has been Kaz's jam for most of her life would be an understatement.

After forming a partnership ie. marriage, Paul and Kaz decided that their working experience complemented each other and successfully relaunched Gemini Interiors and Blinds, operating out of a small NSW country town but the itch for adventure was never far from their business plans.  Curve balls are part of the natural progression in life and after been thrown one or four, Mewali Property was born. Our love for Espresso and Food is well known but our skills, experience and learnings are all related to the building industry and project management.  Navigating Lombok Tucans, village politics, Government regulations and a language barrier have all required persistence, tenacity and resilience to expand Mewali from a small Boutique Villa complex in 2018 to Long Term Expats homes, Mid-term AirBnB's and Turn Key Short term Investment Properties.
